A program, not another team
Based in Kenner, Louisiana, the Louisiana Redbirds were founded by Chris Robertson and Eric Franklin with a simple belief: young athletes deserve an opportunity to be developed, challenged, and prepared to compete at the highest level possible.
What started as a vision to create something different has grown into a baseball program built around player development, competition, character, and opportunity. The Redbirds were created to give players more than just a uniform and a place to play. Our goal is to develop the individual athlete — on and off the field, in the community, and as a person.
From our home base in Kenner, we are building a program with ambitions that reach far beyond our local community. We are committed to developing Louisiana players and creating opportunities for them to compete against some of the best organizations and players in the country.

The Louisiana Redbirds were founded by Chris Robertson and Eric Franklin, who shared a vision of creating a baseball organization centered around the development of players and the pursuit of high-level competition.
Their goal was never simply to create another travel baseball team. It was to build a program with a purpose.
A program where players are developed individually, teams are challenged collectively, and success is measured not only by wins and losses, but by how much each player grows throughout their time as a Redbird.
The Long View
Where we are headed
The vision for the Louisiana Redbirds extends far beyond one season, one tournament, or one age group. Based in Kenner, our goal is to build a long-term baseball program that develops players from their earliest competitive years through the upper levels of youth baseball and beyond.
As the program grows, our goal is to establish the Louisiana Redbirds as an organization known throughout Louisiana, the Gulf South, and nationally for player development and elite competition.
We want to travel. We want to compete. We want to test ourselves against the best. But most importantly, we want to build players who are prepared for the next level — a program where development never stops, coaching continues to evolve, competition continues to improve, and players are constantly challenged to become better versions of themselves.
